The Opening Ceremony of NJU Entrepreneurship Training Camp
On November 10th, the Opening Ceremony of NJU Entrepreneurship Training Camp was held at the Maker Space, Xianlin Campus, Nanjing University. The training camp was hosted by the Office of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Achievement Transformation of Nanjing University, and co-organized by Global Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Nanjing University, NJU Student Entrepreneurship Center and NJU Student Entrepreneurship Park. Gu Gongliang, deputy director of the Office of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Achievement Transformation of Nanjing University and executive vice president of Global Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Nanjing University, Tang Yang, director of NJU Student Entrepreneurship Center, and Qian Yan, associate dean of Global Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Nanjing University, attended the opening ceremony, and more than 100 NJU students participated in this training.
In the speech, Mr. Tang Yang first welcomed the attendance of the campers, and introduced the status quo of innovation and entrepreneurship education at Nanjing University, the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the achievements in fostering students' entrepreneurship. Mr. Tang said that "as long as students have clear goals to strive for, master correct methods and relevant abilities, they can naturally realize their dreams of entrepreneurship when the time is ripe in the future".
The 2018 NJU Entrepreneurship Training Camp lasted for two and a half days. The training camp consisted of two parts: namely, course teaching and on-site teaching, which adopted various forms of activities such as visits, training, salons, group discussions, etc. The training camp invited Prof. Zhou Kai, director of the Innovative Industry Research Center of Nanjing University, and Wu Siyu, founding partner of Changlin Investment, to give lectures on entrepreneurship; Pan Longquan, chairman of Quanfeng Holdings, and Xu Wei, CEO of Car 300, to share their entrepreneurial experience; Feng Xiqing, founding partner of Aplus Labs, Huang Yu, vice president of Aplus, Zheng Hao, co-founder of Chelecom, and Mao Yunlong, doctor of Nanjing University, to participate in the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum. The camp also arranged the campers to visit the workshop of Work Space, startups and incubators of Nanjing University. Through the form of Lecture Forum + Practice, Incubation, Intensive Teaching + Precise Counseling, the combination of theory and practice was realized.
