The Opening Ceremony of NJU Seminar for the Innovative Entrepreneurs of "Entrepreneurship in Nanjing" Program
On November 8th, the opening ceremony of NJU Seminar for the Innovative Entrepreneurs of "Entrepreneurship in Nanjing" Program jointly organized by the Nanjing Municipal Party Organization Department (Municipal Talent Office), Nanjing Municipal Science and Technology Commission (Municipal Special Project Office) and Nanjing University was held at the lecture hall of Yifu Library. Zhang Xinnian, executive deputy director of the Organization Department and director of the Municipal Talent Office, Fan Conglai, assistant to the president of Nanjing University, and Gao Xinfang, director of the Office of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Achievement Transformation of Nanjing University attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Zhang Mingdi, deputy director of the Municipal Talent Office.
In the speech, Mr. Fan Conglai warm welcomed the trainees who participated in the seminar. Mr. Fan said that Nanjing University has always attached importance to the cultivation of innovative scientific and technological talents. Since 2012, the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee Organization Department has cooperated with Nanjing University to run the school. Relying on the Global Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Nanjing University, it has invited world-renowned investment experts, successful entrepreneurs and famous experts in related fields to teach students, and trained over 300 entrepreneurs for Nanjing. Mr. Fan hoped that all students could apply what they have learnt to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, so as to serve local economic and social development. Additionally, he encouraged entrepreneurs to partner with NJU to develop school-enterprise cooperation.
Deputy director Zhang Xin said that the central and provincial committees have always emphasized on the innovation and entrepreneurship of scientific and technological talents. Since the beginning of this year, Nanjing has fully launched the “121” Strategy of Innovation-Driven Development, vigorously promoted the innovation and entrepreneurship of scientific and technological talents, and introduced 117 innovative entrepreneurs through the implementation of the "Entrepreneurship in Nanjing" Program. Moreover, various forms of entrepreneurship training, such as theme salons, interactive dialogues, and tutor assistance were frequently organized. The purpose of this training is to help the trainees to broaden their views, emancipate their minds, enhance their innovative quality and entrepreneurial ability, and promote the rapid growth of enterprises. He hoped that the entrepreneurs who participated in the seminar could grasp an in-depth understanding of the significance of Nanjing's construction of a renowned innovative city, seize the opportunity and take advantage of the situation; vigorously promote the outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, keep the original dream in mind and strive for it; further strengthen the service awareness and promote the high-quality development; speed up the ability and quality of innovation and entrepreneurship, strive to make the company bigger and stronger, provide strong talent support for the construction of innovative city, and make greater contributions to the construction of “prosperous, wealthy, gorgeous and fantastic” Nanjing!
This seminar is part of the “Nanjing Innovation & Entrepreneur Training Program”, which offers courses regarding the financial situation and capital operation, enterprise transformation and innovation, human resources management, etc. In terms of the curriculum, special invitations were given to Hong Yinxing, the former secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University, famous economist, senior professor in the field of humanities and social sciences, professor of Nanjing University Business School, Wang Changjiang, member of the Jiangsu Provincial Financial Society, Yang Zhongyi, chairman of Fuzhong Group and other experts and professors to deliver special lectures and carry out experience sharing. In addition, students were also arranged to communicate with each other through group discussions and other forms, and to get incisive insights through brainstorm.
