On the morning of November 2, entrusted by the department of organization of Guilin municipal party committee, the institute held a workshop featured “Deepen the Reform of Talent Development Mechanism of Liuzhou” at Gulou campus. This workshop wil focus on the country’s latest policy trend and macro political and economic situations, so that participants would be able to acquire the cutting-edge knowledge and solutions to problems in economic and social development. Through training that combines theory and practice, the Liuzhou cohort could broaden their horizon and mindset, cultivate strategic thinking ability and improve their theoretical level, learning capabilities, professionalism and leadership skills.
The first class was delieverd by Professor Tong Xing, from school of government administration, Nanjing University. He gave a lecture on “Social Management and Construction of a Harmonious Society”. Professor Tong’s lecture was insightful, strategic, comprehensive, and easily understood. His class was well received by the participants. They expressed that the workshop was worthwile, and they learnt from the class. Professor Tong helped the participants open their mindset, broaden their horizon and update their conceptions. It is worth noting that the event also invited the chairman of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association, Professor Zhao Yongxian and deputy editor in chief of the People’s Magazine, Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Miao Chengbin to share their understanding of talent policies and work experience in this area.
